Bio

I am a novelist currently dividing my time between Sacramento and Nevada City, though I lived in both Downieville and Nevada City full time through much of the 1970s. I am an avid hiker, fly fisherman and mountain biker in the northern Sierra. Of my four published titles, the most recent, Belonging, is set in Sierra County and deals with all the issues of culture and community that arise as newcomers in significant number claim places in Sierra locations steeped in local traditions.
