Regardless of political party and position, when it comes to economic stimulus and the hundreds of billions of dollars that the federal government is getting ready to pump into the system, everyone agrees that if the money doesn't result in massive job creation the economy will likely sink from crisis into catastrophe.

Helpful on many levels

Green jobs help the current job market, especially for those in rural California.  It also helps the environment and preservation of what is irreplaceable.  But I don't see how it would result into a catatastrophe if it doesn't turn out to be the "all-purpose solution" to get us out of this crisis.  It can only help and contribute to the solution.
