PG&E has contributed $5,000 to the campaign for a specialty license plate to benefit the Sierra Nevada Conservancy. This grant will jumpstart an intense period of fundraising to get the $350,000 necessary to launch the one year campaign to collect 7,500 license plate registrations.
We hope PG&E’s generous donation will motivate other businesses and foundations committed to the Sierra to support this campaign. Other long-time supporters include Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Mad Wills Food, KVMR Radio, Sierra Heritage Magazine, and Sorensen’s Resort.
The campaign for a license plate for the Sierra Nevada Conservancy will bring together a broad range of partners in this well-loved but threatened region, including:
Most importantly, individual citizens can demonstrate their personal investment in the Sierra Nevada by sporting Conservancy license plates. Those who love to recreate here but live elsewhere will help build awareness of Sierra issues across the state, while those who reside in the region will promote the sense of regional pride and awareness of the Conservancy, its partners and its programs.
Let The Sierra Fund know if your business or organization can contribute in any way!
