Sierra Nevada Conservancy approves $11 in grants

The Sierra Nevada Conservancy Board of Directors authorized grants totaling $11,137,242 for projects throughout the Sierra Nevada. The Board authorized "Competitive Grants" totaling $6,831,922 for larger projects with region-wide implications located throughout the range. In addition, they agreed to distribution of $4,305,320 in "Strategic Opportunity Grants" (SOGs) covering each of the six regions of the Sierra.
