STS Launch Party at Sierra College

About 30 folks helped us celebrate the project at a launch party hosted by The Center for Sierra Nevada Studies at Sierra College Wednesday, October 28. So nice to meet Sierra College staff and students and community supporters! Our Storybooth interns Michie Montgomery and Michele Baslock recorded new voices. Janet Cohen of Community Action Partners [img_assist|nid=136|title=Janet Cohen|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=96|height=100] gave a brilliant introduction to the power of stories to inspire and move people to action in their communities. Gary Noy [img_assist|nid=137|title=Gary Noy|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=79] deserves special thanks for coordinating the event for Sierra College and being a great project partner. Terry Lowe [img_assist|nid=138|title=Terry Lowe|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=77|height=100] represented another of our partners, The Sierra Fund.
